Former US President Donald Trump commented on his meetings at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who were visiting Washington.
In a post on his social media account, Trump stated that he had a "very productive meeting" with Netanyahu. He noted that a large number of important topics were discussed during the meeting.
Touching upon his meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky, Trump said, "It was a great honor for me to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Many issues were discussed. The meeting went very well."
The footage shared by Trump included moments where he hosted Netanyahu and Zelensky separately, shook hands with the leaders, and presided over the meetings.
Netanyahu and Zelensky had come to Washington to attend the funeral of Republican Senatör Lindsey Graham. It was reported that 71-year-old Graham, who had served in the Senate since 2003, passed away on the night of July 11 due to a "short-term and sudden illness."
