A large crowd gathered in Lafayette Park in front of the White House to protest President Donald Trump and the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk.

During the demonstration, the U.S. government's practices regarding immigrants, as well as issues such as education, healthcare, and social security policies, were criticized, along with the U.S. stance on Gaza, where Israel continues its attacks.

Protesters carrying signs containing criticisms of Trump and Musk attempted to make their voices heard at the White House.

Meanwhile, thousands of people gathered around the Washington Monument, which overlooks the backyard of the White House, to voice similar demands against the U.S. government.

The protesters later marched toward the U.S. Capitol building while chanting slogans. One person was detained during the demonstrations. It was noted that the Washington police did not respond to questions regarding the reason for the detention.
