Trump made a statement on the social media platform Truth Social regarding the Secret Service protection allocated to Biden's children by the U.S. government.
Stating that Biden's son, Hunter Biden, has Secret Service protection "fully paid for by U.S. taxpayers," Trump expressed that the protection service provided to Biden's son could reach up to 18 people and that this situation is "ridiculous."
Noting that Hunter Biden is currently vacationing in South Africa, Trump announced that Hunter will no longer receive Secret Service protection, effective "immediately."
Stating that Joe Biden's other adult child, Ashley Biden, also has a 13-person protection detail, Trump noted that Biden's daughter has also been removed from the list.
