The US President said, "I know, we will protect them if necessary. But if we need help, they won't be there for us. I've known this for a long time. Just as I knew the strait would be used as a weapon. I predicted all of this a long time ago."
Stating that he spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday, Trump assessed, "I think Macron will help."
Expressing that he was not satisfied with the UK, the US President said, "They might get involved."
Speaking about Iran, Trump said, "I'm saying it doesn't matter if you are targeted or not because what we are facing is a paper tiger. Two weeks ago, it wasn't a paper tiger. Now, it is a paper tiger."
While saying that Iran wants to make a deal, Trump indicated that US officials are in communication with the Iranian side. The US President said, "I don't know if Iran is ready."
The US President touched upon Mojtaba Khamenei, who was chosen as the new leader of Iran, saying, "Some say he was wounded, others say he is dead."
Trump also stated that Israel would not use nuclear weapons.
