Trump's statement on Iran: They will not be able to possess nuclear weapons, we taught them a very harsh lesson

U.S. President Donald Trump made notable remarks regarding the Iran agenda at an event held in the White House garden. In his speech, Trump stated that Iran will not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.

Speaking at an event where the restructuring process of the American steel industry after the September 11 attacks was discussed, Trump commemorated those who lost their lives in the attacks. Stating that they are making every effort to ensure similar attacks do not happen again, Trump delivered tough messages regarding Iran.

Iran will in no way be able to possess nuclear weapons. We are fighting right now because there is a country that wants to obtain nuclear weapons. They were very close to it, but now they have no chance of obtaining it. Iran will never be able to possess nuclear weapons.

Trump also claimed that the naval blockade against Iran has been "very successful." Arguing that the blockade implemented by the U.S. Navy has "significantly enabled" tanker passages in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump claimed that the implementation yielded more effective results than expected.

The U.S. President stated, "Iran has been punished very severely. We have taught them a really very harsh lesson." Trump said that the blockade was "so strong and effective" that no one expected it to work this well.
