Trump says he will call AI 'super intelligence' at UN: 'We will not restrict it'

US President Donald Trump made notable remarks regarding artificial intelligence during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Arguing that the term "artificial intelligence" creates a misleading connotation about the technology, Trump said he would use the term "super intelligence" from now on.
In his speech, Trump stated that the term "super intelligence" would also be preferred in US documents. Acknowledging that the technology brings challenges, Trump nevertheless expressed that the US would not adopt a restrictive approach in this field.

In his speech, which lasted about half an hour, Trump touched upon foreign policy issues such as Iran, Gaza, and the Russia-Ukraine war, in addition to the topic of artificial intelligence. Asserting that the US is ahead in the technological race, Trump remarked, "whoever wins the super intelligence race will be the victor."
MESSAGES ON IRAN AND GAZA
Giving tough messages on Iran as well, Trump said that Tehran must "end its support for terrorism" and abandon its nuclear goals. Calling on other countries to join in economically isolating Iran, Trump stated that he believes a deal could be made with Iran after the midterm elections.
Regarding Gaza, Trump claimed that the war has been brought to an end and thanked the UN Security Council for supporting the 20-point Gaza Peace Plan. Stating that approximately 30 countries have joined the peace council, Trump thanked some countries, including Turkey, for their contributions.
Regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, Trump argued that they are working closely with the parties and that results could be achieved on this topic as well. Devoting significant space to the US economy in his speech, Trump claimed that his country is "back" and that doing business has become easier compared to the past.
