Regarding a question about Syria, Trump stated that he was pleased with the contacts in the region. Noting that he held a meeting with Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara, Trump said in his statement, "I had a wonderful conversation with the very respected President of Syria. Everything is going very well in Syria; we are very pleased with this." In a later assessment, Trump reiterated his satisfaction, saying, "Everything regarding Syria and that region has gone very, very well. That is why we are very happy."

"We have a very good relationship with Venezuela"

When asked about allegations that Delcy Rodriguez, who serves as the interim President of Venezuela, had stopped taking orders from Trump, Trump said he was not aware of such statements. Trump said, "I don't know exactly what is happening there, but I haven't heard anything like that. We have a very good relationship."

"Our country is only entered through legal means"

Trump made a lengthy assessment regarding border policies and compared them to the presidency of former US President Joe Biden. Trump said, "When I took office, there was a border that millions of people were crossing. Now we have a border where no one is crossing illegally. Our country is only entered through legal means."

When asked whether US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem would resign following the events that occurred after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents shot a person in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Trump gave a one-word answer: "No." In the continuation of his speech, Trump said regarding Noem, "I think she has done a very good job. Our borders are completely secure."

Regarding questions about the death of 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti, who was shot and killed by ICE agents during the events in Minnesota, Trump pointed to the ongoing investigation. Trump said, "We are conducting a major investigation. I want to see the investigation. I want it to be a very honorable and honest investigation. I have to see this myself."

Regarding Pretti's family, he said, "I love everyone. I love all our people. I also love her family. This is a very sad situation."
