US President Donald Trump reiterated his criticism of Iran in a post on social media. Arguing that Iran has failed to take steps regarding the nuclear deal, Trump used striking language.
In his post, Trump stated, "Iran just can't seem to get things right. They don't know how to sign a non-nuclear deal. They need to come to their senses as soon as possible."
The post also featured a photo of Trump wearing a black suit and sunglasses, carrying a long-barreled weapon. In the image, the phrase "There are no good guys anymore" was highlighted in bold letters.
BLOCKADE MESSAGE FOR THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ
Trump's harsh messages toward Iran have also reopened the debate on the Strait of Hormuz plan he had previously brought up. Following the failure of the negotiation process conducted with Iran and Pakistan, the US President had announced that they would initiate the process of blockading the Strait of Hormuz.
Following this announcement, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) had reported that a naval blockade covering all ships entering and exiting Iranian ports would be implemented as of April 13.
