Speaking to the Noticias program on the American network Fox News, U.S. President Donald Trump made statements regarding his immigration policy.

Trump noted that while they are currently continuing to deport "bad" migrants, they are working on a program for irregular migrants who wish to leave the country.

Expressing that they want to provide money and plane tickets to irregular migrants who will leave the U.S. voluntarily, Trump said, "If they are good and we want them to come back, we will work together to get them back as quickly as possible."

During his election campaign, Trump stated that they wanted to deport "millions of migrants," while his running mate JD Vance had suggested they could start with 1 million migrants first.

In line with his efforts to combat irregular migration, Donald Trump had previously invoked the "Alien Enemies Act," a power previously used only during wartime, to accelerate the deportation of migrants linked to "foreign terrorist organizations."

The 1798 "Alien Enemies Act," which Trump has invoked, grants the president extraordinary powers to target and deport undocumented migrants.
