Trump: We are closer to World War III than ever before

Former President Donald Trump, who met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, made statements.

Republican presidential nominee Trump targeted the remarks made by US Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, saying, "I think her remarks were disrespectful. They weren't very nice to Israel. I don't know how a person who is Jewish can vote for her. But that's up to them. But to me, it was certainly disrespectful to Israel."

Touching on the situation in the Middle East, Trump said, "If we win, it will be very simple. Everything will work out very quickly.

If we don't win, we will be facing major wars in the Middle East and perhaps a third world war.

We are closer to World War III right now than we have been since World War II. We have never been this close, because our country is being run by incompetent people," he said.

Harris had stated that she also brought up the humanitarian crisis in Gaza during her meeting with Netanyahu, saying, "I expressed my serious concerns about the dire humanitarian situation, where more than 2 million people are facing severe difficulties in accessing food and half a million people are facing starvation."

Describing what has happened in Gaza over the last nine months as "devastating," Harris reminded of the children who have died and the desperate, hungry people who have been displaced multiple times for their safety, stating, "We cannot turn a blind eye to these tragedies. We cannot allow ourselves to become numb to the suffering, and I will not be silent."
