Trump: We have reached an agreement with the UK

US President Donald Trump had said he would make a "positive" announcement at the White House that would "shake the world" within 24 hours. Trump has now made the announcement the world was eagerly awaiting.

Trump included the following statements in his announcement:

"We have made a groundbreaking deal with the UK. We have planned many meetings. Countries want to meet with us. We are working together with our allies on economic security and national security. The UK had closed its borders on this issue, but now we will start working again. Starmer is a good partner in this regard. We have a much better relationship right now."

In his statement from the Oval Office, US President Trump announced that they had reached a trade agreement between the US and the UK, while also making an announcement regarding Ukraine.

RARE EARTH ELEMENTS AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH UKRAINE

Trump said, "We have just finalized a rare earth elements agreement with Ukraine that has also been fully approved by their legislative bodies. I will speak with (Ukrainian) President (Volodymyr) Zelenskyy today."

Expressing his happiness over the signing of the agreement, Trump stated, "The deal is now signed and approved. We now have access to a very large amount of very high-quality rare earth elements."

A memorandum of understanding had been signed between Ukraine and the US on April 18 within the framework of a rare earth elements agreement.
