Trump: Zelensky will have to make a deal

US President Donald Trump answered questions from journalists before boarding his plane ahead of his visit to the UK. Describing King Charles III and Camilla as his friends, Trump said that King Charles is someone who represents his country well.

Touching on the agenda of his UK visit, where he will meet with the royal family and Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump said that British officials want to continue trade negotiations during his visit. Trump said, "They want to see if they can get a slightly better deal. I will talk to them about that."

When asked about the occupation operation launched by Israel against Gaza City, Trump said he had not spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before the operation. Emphasizing that he does not have much information on the matter and does not yet know whether he supports the operation, Trump said, "I will have to look into this. I don't know much about it. What I can say is that if Hamas uses hostages as shields, they will pay a very heavy price."

Trump announced that the number of boats struck by the US military for allegedly transporting drugs from Venezuela is three. Trump said, "We actually hit three boats, not two. But you saw two of them."

The US military struck a boat on September 2 that was said to be linked to the Tren de Aragua gang, and 11 people died in the attack. In a statement yesterday, Trump announced that they had carried out a second attack on the group he called "narcoterrorists" and reported that 3 people were killed in that attack.

When asked for his comment on the Venezuelan leader's concerns regarding the US attacks, Trump said, "Let me say this: they should immediately stop sending Tren de Aragua to the US. Stop sending drugs to the US."

"HE WILL HAVE TO MAKE A DEAL"

Trump said it is time for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to make a deal to end the war with Russia. Trump said, "He will have to take action and make a deal. Zelenskyy will have to make a deal."

Calling on Europe to put forth more effort to end the war, Trump said, "And Europe needs to stop buying oil from Russia. Okay? You know, they talk about it. But they have to stop buying oil from Russia."

"I WILL HAVE TO BE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH THEM"

Touching on the possibility of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Zelensky, Trump said, "It looks like I will have to be in the same room with them. Because the two of them cannot come together in the same room. There is a great deal of hatred between them."

US President Trump announced that a group of large companies wants to purchase the China-based video sharing app TikTok. Trump said these companies would announce the details soon. Trump stated, "I have reached a deal with China. I will meet with President Xi on Friday to solidify everything."
