A large-scale poll conducted in the US has revealed public opinion regarding President Donald Trump's first 100 days in office. The study, organized by NBC News, included 19,682 participants.
According to the poll results, 55 percent of participants stated that they did not approve of Trump's performance, while 45 percent indicated they were satisfied with this period. These results show that the public has been largely critical of Trump's first 100 days in office.
Regarding the issue of tariffs, which is at the center of debates, 61 percent of participants found the policies pursued by Trump to be negative. A 39 percent segment expressed satisfaction with the practices regarding tariffs.
The responses to the question regarding the President's immigration policies also showed that society is divided. While 51 percent of participants said they did not support the immigration policies, 49 percent stated they were satisfied with these steps.
CONCERN THAT "THE US IS ON THE WRONG TRACK"
The answers given to the question about the general direction of the country were also noteworthy. While 60 percent of participants stated that the US is on the "wrong track," only 40 percent expressed satisfaction with the country's direction.
On the other hand, significant data was also obtained regarding the protests held in the US against Israel's attacks on Gaza. Six out of every 10 people oppose the cancellation of visas and the deportation of those participating in these protests.
