Turkish activist killed in Israeli attack in the West Bank

A Turkish activist named Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi has died after being shot in the head with live ammunition by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank.

According to information from eyewitnesses, Israeli forces attacked an anti-occupation demonstration held in the town of Beita, near the city of Nablus in the West Bank, with live fire.

According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, Eygi, who also held U.S. citizenship, was shot in the head and taken to the hospital.

Fuad Nafia, director of Rafidia State Hospital in Nablus, stated that despite all interventions, they were unable to save Eygi, who had been brought to the hospital after being shot in the head.

According to the information obtained, Eygi was born in Antalya in 1998.
