According to the UAE's official news agency WAM, joint coordination is ongoing to take the necessary steps for the resumption of flights between the two countries.
The report stated that the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority announced that flights between the UAE and Syria would resume.
According to the authority, joint coordination efforts are underway to complete the necessary procedures for restarting flights after a 13-year hiatus.
