UAE responds: 'Do not involve us in the tensions between Yemeni parties'

The UAE Embassy in Ankara stated in a post on its official social media account, "The United Arab Emirates (UAE) expresses its deep regret regarding the statements contained in the declaration issued by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the fundamental misconceptions it contains regarding the role of the UAE in the ongoing events in the Republic of Yemen."states that. The United Arab Emirates categorically rejects being involved in the tensions occurring between Yemeni parties; it strongly condemns allegations that it has pressured or directed any party to conduct military operations that would compromise the security of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabiaorthreaten its security or conduct military operations targeting its bordersto pressure any partyto carry out ordirectinregard to these allegationsstrongly condemns it.
