UAV sent from Lebanon causes millions in Israel to head to shelters
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sent from Lebanon caused widespread panic and forced millions of people in Israel to head to shelters.

The UAV, which roamed freely through Israeli airspace for over an hour across dozens of kilometers and which Israeli fighter jets and helicopters failed to intercept, subsequently disappeared.
The UAV, which vanished and whose fate remains unknown, caused sirens to wail for more than an hour in dozens of settlements in northern Israel.
In a written statement on the X platform, the Israeli army stated, "A UAV was detected in the Ras Naqoura area and headed toward the Yokneam region, southeast of Haifa, and was under the surveillance of the Air Force."
The statement noted that sirens were activated in additional areas in accordance with warning policies to ensure the safety of citizens, taking into account the estimated flight path of the UAV.
The army's statement indicated that efforts to locate the UAV, which is believed to have crashed in an open area, are ongoing.
A report by the Israeli news site Walla also stated that the UAV sent from Lebanon caused millions of Israelis to enter shelters, and that sirens rang continuously at the time near Haifa, Kiryat, Ha'emkim, and Zikhron Ya'akov.
