UAVs crash in Kirkuk and Erbil
According to information provided by Iraqi security sources, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) crashed in the cities of Kirkuk and Erbil in the evening hours.

Explosion sounds were heard in the Iraqi cities of Kirkuk and Erbil. Iraqi sources stated that the explosion sounds in Kirkuk occurred near the Kirkuk Airport and the Joint Operations Command. Security sources reported that, according to initial findings, the explosion was caused by a falling unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and that there was no loss of life in the incident.
At the same time, two loud explosion sounds were also heard near the Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in the north of the country. According to initial information, an unidentified object fell near the airport.
On the other hand, it was reported that at approximately 21:50 local time, 2 UAVs were shot down in the western countryside of Erbil following an intervention from the US military base at Erbil Airport. It was reported that there was no loss of life or material damage in the incident.
UAV and rocket attacks have been carried out in different regions of Iraq within the last 2 days. No information has been shared yet regarding who carried out the attacks.
