The UK has announced new sanctions targeting Russia. London has declared that it will impose 46 new sanctions, including on Russian citizens, in connection with the Russian mercenary group Wagner.
In a statement issued by the government, it was noted that the sanctions also target entities located in Turkey, China, and Central Asia that are involved in the production and supply processes for equipment tools, microelectronic components, and parts for unmanned aerial vehicles.
The statement further indicated that sanctions will be imposed on individuals and entities in three African countries—the Central African Republic, Libya, and Mali—on the grounds that they are also linked to Wagner.
