Important call from UK Prime Minister Sunak to Netanyahu

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone following Iran's attack on Israel.

During the call, Sunak urged Netanyahu to exercise restraint, emphasizing that any further escalation in the region would not be in anyone's interest and stating that rising tensions would only serve to deepen insecurity in the Middle East.

Sunak also conveyed his request for a significant increase in the amount of aid delivered to the Gaza Strip.
