Ukrainian leader travels to Albania: Statement on Russia ahead of meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Albania to attend the "Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit" to be held in the capital, Tirana. The Ukrainian leader will also meet with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and other officials.
Zelenskyy was welcomed at the Mother Teresa International Airport by Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani, representatives of the Albanian government, and representatives of the Ukrainian Embassy in Albania.
Minister Hasani, in a post on his social media account, stated that it was a great honor to host Zelenskyy in Tirana, saying, "An important moment for fostering bilateral relations and standing in solidarity with Ukraine in its heroic fight against Russia's aggression."
The Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit will be held in Albania today with the participation of leaders from Southeast European countries, primarily Zelenskyy.
