Iran has appealed to the United Nations (UN), accusing the US of being directly involved in the ongoing conflicts with Israel.
In its official request to the UN Security Council, Iran claimed that there is "growing and undeniable evidence of the US's direct involvement in this illegal campaign," reporting that the situation is escalating dangerously.
The Tehran administration emphasized that regional security is under threat and called on the Security Council to meet urgently.
Iran's call for an emergency meeting was supported by Russia and China, permanent members of the UN Security Council, as well as Pakistan and Algeria.
