Unconditional ceasefire to be discussed in the UK on Wednesday

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that representatives from Ukraine, the UK, France, and the US will discuss an unconditional ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine during a meeting in the UK on Wednesday.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a written statement following a phone call with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Stating that he had a good and detailed conversation with Starmer, Zelenskyy announced that representatives from Ukraine, the UK, France, and the US will discuss an unconditional ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in London, the capital of the UK, on Wednesday.

Zelenskyy said, "An unconditional ceasefire should be the first step toward peace, and this Easter has shown that it is Russia's actions that are causing the war to drag on."

Zelenskyy also noted that he and Starmer discussed the issue of working together within European security formats.
