Unexploded bomb from World War II defused
An unexploded bomb dating back to World War II, discovered near the Kreuzgasse High School where renovations were underway in Cologne, Germany, has been defused.

According to a statement from the Cologne Metropolitan Municipality, 5 thousand 400 residents were evacuated from the area during the disposal of the bomb, which was found during construction work near the Kreuzgasse High School.
Residents returned to their homes after the bomb was neutralized by expert teams.
