Adele Khodr, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), issued a statement regarding the children who have died in Palestine. Khodr's statement was also shared on UNICEF's X account.
Khodr stated that Israel has killed 3 children in the city of Tulkarm in the West Bank and at least 14 children in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip within the last 72 hours.
Noting that children in Palestinian territories have been trapped in a tragic and vicious cycle of violence for far too long, Khodr emphasized that the killing of children in Palestine must come to an end and a ceasefire must be established.
