UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths reported in a message shared on his X social media account that Israel's intense bombardment of Khan Yunis continues.

The Under-Secretary-General stated, "(Israel) demanding that trapped people evacuate the area and then bombing them without giving them a chance to leave is pure callousness."

UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine Francesca Albanese pointed out that this is not just callousness, emphasizing, "This is also a very serious international crime under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court."

The Ministry of Health in Gaza had announced that the Israeli army targeted the surroundings of two hospitals located in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip and cut off the roads leading to these hospitals.
