US Ambassador Barrack states progress has been made in F-35 talks

US Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack stated in a social media post that the positive relationship between US President Donald Trump and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has led to significant progress regarding the procurement of F-35 fighter jets.

Barrack expressed that discussions are ongoing regarding Turkey's re-entry into the F-35 program and the status of the Russian-made S-400 air defense system.
