US Ambassador to Ankara Barrack's statement on Turkey and Israel: Trump changed everything completely
US Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack made assessments regarding Gaza and Turkey during his speech at the International Institute for Strategic Studies forum held in Manama, the capital of Bahrain.

Stating that a ceasefire in Gaza could not have been achieved without Turkey, Barrack said that US President Donald Trump thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan 4 times on this matter.
Regarding the ceasefire agreement reached on Gaza, Barrack said, "Without Turkey, there would be no ceasefire in Gaza. President Trump thanked Mr. Erdoğan 4 times."
Stating that AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan and Qatar did a "tremendous job," Barrack said, "Especially Turkey's relations with Hamas, and not labeling them as a terrorist organization, enabled them to go all the way for the ceasefire."
"TURKEY AND ISRAEL WILL NOT GO TO WAR"
Praising US President Donald Trump's efforts toward peace, Barrack assessed, "The President (Trump) has completely changed the chessboard everywhere. Turkey and Israel will not go to war. I don't think that will happen, and you will see cooperation from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean."

Barrack also said, "Everything the West has done since the collapse of the Ottoman Empire was a mistake. The colonial attitude toward communities, flags, and religions has never worked. All these models have collapsed."
Regarding the negotiations between the Damascus administration and the terrorist organization PKK/YPG forces, which use the name SDF in Syria, Barrack also used the expression, "We are very close to finding a common ground (with the SDF)."
