US and Israel target university and airport in Tehran

The US and Israel have carried out an airstrike on Iran's capital, Tehran. Reports in the Iranian press stated that Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran was targeted in the attacks.

It was stated that the attack in question took place at 16:02 local time, and a statement from the university indicated that a building and some education and research centers were struck.

The statement noted that there was no loss of life due to the attack, but some university staff present at the scene were injured by the impact of the explosion.

On the other hand, it was reported that Mehrabad Airport and the Telo region located in the northeast of Tehran were also targeted in the attacks. Authorities are continuing to work on reports regarding the damage caused by the attacks.

Aid warehouse targeted in Bushehr

In a statement made by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), it was reported that a warehouse containing aid supplies and emergency vehicles was targeted in an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack in the Bushehr province in southern Iran. The statement indicated that 2 containers, 2 buses, and some emergency vehicles were destroyed in the attack that took place this morning.
