The US Department of State has approved potential military sales to Egypt, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates totaling $2.27 billion.

According to the statement, the largest item in the package is the sale of APKWS-II guidance sections and related parts to the UAE, valued at approximately $1 billion 41 million.

The estimated value of the sale approved for Egypt was announced as $832 million. This package includes the provision of up to 2,020 FGM-148F Javelin missiles and up to 200 Javelin Lightweight Command Launch Units to Cairo.

For Kuwait, the plan involves providing parts and repair services for Patriot missiles, valued at approximately $400 million.

On September 17, the US Department of State had also approved a potential $24.3 billion military sale to Saudi Arabia, which included 48 F-35 fighter jets and 49 engines.
