US President Donald Trump has announced that the US has attacked Iran. US bases have been placed on high alert.

In a post on his social media accounts on Truth Social and X, Trump announced that the US had carried out "very successful" attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Trump reported that all aircraft have exited Iranian airspace.

While there was speculation about whether the US would get involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran, US President Donald Trump announced that they had carried out an airstrike on 3 nuclear facilities, including Fordo in Iran.

Announcing the operation on his TruthSocial account by saying 'Now is the time for peace', Trump stated the following:

"We have completed our very successful attack on three Nuclear facilities in Iran, including Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. All aircraft are now outside of Iranian airspace. A full BOMB load was dropped on the primary facility, Fordo. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is no other military in the world that can do this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your interest in this matter."

Stating that it is "a historic moment for the US, Israel, and the world," Trump indicated that Iran should now be willing to end this war.

According to information obtained by the American news site Axios from an Israeli official, B-2 heavy bombers were used in the attack.

TRUMP AND NETANYAHU SPOKE BY PHONE

According to a statement from the White House, Donald Trump and Netanyahu held a phone call following the attack.

"FORDO HAS BEEN DESTROYED"

The US President announced that Fordo, located 30 km from the Iranian city of Qom and the country's most important nuclear facility, has been destroyed.

Israel and the US had previously alleged that nuclear weapons were being produced at the Fordo Nuclear Facility, which Trump stated they had destroyed.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian had previously stated that the allegations that nuclear weapons were being produced at the Fordo uranium enrichment facility were false.
