US blacklists 20 Turkish companies: Here are the companies...

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury has blacklisted 20 Turkish companies as part of Russia sanctions.

Hundreds of companies and shareholders based in Russia and Hong Kong were also included in this list.

Among the Turkish companies are a shipyard and a ship management company.

These sanctions come as part of the broad economic measures that continue to be implemented due to Russia's attacks on Ukraine. This decision by the US could seriously affect the international trade activities and financial relations of the Turkish companies involved.

According to information provided by journalist Recep Canpolat, this blacklisting is considered an extension of the sanctions the US has imposed on Russia, and the potential effects of these sanctions on the Turkish economy are being examined.
