The US has issued a message of condolence for Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and the members of their delegation who lost their lives in a helicopter crash yesterday.
In a written statement issued by the US Department of State, it was stated: “The United States expresses its official condolences for the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other members of their delegation in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran.
As Iran selects a new president, we reaffirm our support for the Iranian people and their struggle for human rights and fundamental freedoms.”
