CENTCOM included the following in its statement: "The strike killed Bilal Hassan al-Jasim, an experienced Al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist leader with direct ties to the ISIS terrorist responsible for the ambush that resulted in the deaths of two US soldiers and one US interpreter on December 13, 2025."
