FOUR US VESSELS HAD DRIFTED
Four US vessels carrying humanitarian aid to the pier in question had drifted on May 25 due to strong winds.
In a statement issued by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was reported that the vessels had broken free from their moorings and drifted, adding, "Two vessels are currently anchored on the beach near the pier, while the other vessels have run aground near the Israeli city of Ashkelon."
