US issues warning to Iran following ceasefire debate: 'If they don't accept, we will destroy them'
US President Donald Trump argued that Iran has violated the ceasefire but stated that a deal remains "inevitable"; as tensions between the parties persist, harsh threats have come from Washington.

ABC News correspondent Jonathan Karl reported that US President Donald Trump still sees the possibility of a deal with Iran as being on the table.
Sharing his conversation with Trump on his social media account, Karl stated the following:
"President Trump told me that Iran is 'in serious violation' of the ceasefire, but he still thinks a peace deal can be made: 'It will happen. Either the easy way or the hard way. It will happen one way or another.'"
Meanwhile, Trump claimed in a statement on Truth Social that Iran had opened fire in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump said, "Iran decided to open fire in the Strait of Hormuz yesterday, a total violation of our ceasefire agreement! Most of the bullets were directed at a French ship and a cargo ship from the United Kingdom. That was not very nice, was it?"
Touching upon the US-Iran negotiations, Trump noted that representatives would hold talks in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
Trump used the following expressions in his statement:
"My representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan, tomorrow evening for negotiations. Iran recently announced that it would close the strait, which is strange because our blockade had already closed the strait. They are helping us without knowing it, and they are the ones losing out with the closed passage, 500 million dollars a day! The United States is losing nothing.
We are offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they accept it because if they don't, the United States will destroy every single power plant and every single bridge in Iran. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE GOOD GUY ANYMORE! They will submit quickly and easily, and if they do not accept the DEAL, it will be my honor to do what other presidents should have done to Iran for the last 47 years. IT IS TIME FOR IRAN'S KILLING MACHINE TO END!"
