US launches new wave of attacks on Iran! CENTCOM announces target

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the launch of a new wave of attacks against Iran. The statement indicated that the operations aim to reduce the threat capacity in the Strait of Hormuz and to retaliate against the Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces that targeted US soldiers in Jordan.

In a statement released by CENTCOM, it was stated, "These strikes are intended to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and to swiftly punish the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces that attacked American soldiers in Jordan."

OPERATIONS CONTINUE FOLLOWING JORDAN ATTACK

The US had previously conducted numerous strikes targeting Iran's capacity to pose a threat to commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM had announced that Iran targeted US elements in Jordan in retaliation for these strikes, resulting in the death of 2 US soldiers, with 1 soldier still missing.
