Speaking to the press, Kirby made statements regarding allegations that Hamas uses certain hospitals in Gaza.
CLAIMED THEY USE TUNNELS
Kirby alleged that they have received intelligence from various sources indicating that Hamas uses some hospitals in the Gaza Strip and the "tunnels beneath them" to hide and conduct their military operations.
According to the intelligence in question, Kirby argued that some hospitals in Gaza, including Al-Shifa Hospital, are used by Hamas for the purpose of "hiding, conducting military operations, and holding hostages."
Stating that they do not support aerial attacks on hospitals, Kirby said, "Hospitals and patients must be protected. We do not want to see a conflict in a hospital where innocent, helpless, and sick people are just trying to get the treatment they deserve."
