High-level US officials are set to visit the Gaza Strip. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt announced that US President Donald Trump's Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff, who is currently in Israel, and US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee will visit the Gaza Strip tomorrow.
Leavitt stated that during their visit to Gaza, Witkoff and Huckabee will inspect existing food distribution points and work on a plan for increased food distribution.
Leavitt further noted that Witkoff and Huckabee will meet with Gazans to hear about the situation in Gaza firsthand.
Meanwhile, Witkoff, who arrived in Israel in the morning, met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as part of his official contacts.
