US military announces lifting of blockade on Iranian ports

The statement, which noted that US forces are no longer obstructing the passage of ships traveling to or from the ports in question, included the phrase, "All US military blockade activities have ended."

The statement further noted that US Navy ships currently in the region will remain in the vicinity to ensure that all terms of the agreement are complied with, implemented, and remain fully in effect.
