US President Donald Trump, in a statement regarding the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas that includes a prisoner exchange, said, "20 hostages have returned. However, our work is not yet done; the second phase begins now."

US President Donald Trump made statements on his social media account regarding the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas, which includes a prisoner exchange.

Reminding that Hamas had released 20 Israeli hostages from the Gaza Strip, Trump said, "20 hostages have returned and they are doing very well. A great burden has been lifted, but our work is not yet done. The hostages who lost their lives have not been returned as promised. The second phase begins now."

After releasing 20 Israeli hostages yesterday morning, Hamas had delivered the remains of 4 of the 28 hostages who lost their lives in Israeli attacks to Israel via the Red Cross. Hamas had announced that it would deliver the remains of 4 more hostages to Israel this evening.

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) spokesperson Christian Cardon stated in his remarks that locating the bodies expected to be delivered to Israel within the rubble in the Gaza Strip was a "very great challenge," and noted that the return of the remains would therefore take time.
