US President Trump's stern warning to Iran: 'The only thing that will ensure the situation is resolved...'

US President Donald Trump, during his visit to the Fort Bragg Military Base in North Carolina, met with Special Forces personnel who took part in the abduction attempt targeting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Trump stated, "These are great warriors. True patriots. And they are also in very good physical condition, I would like to specifically mention that." Responding to the question, "What can Iran do to prevent a possible attack by the US?" Trump remarked, "They should have made the deal they were supposed to make with us earlier. In his speech addressing the soldiers, Trump touched upon the ongoing nuclear negotiations with Iran, stating that the process has been quite tough and assessing that "it is difficult to reach an agreement with them."

Recalling the attacks carried out by the US against Iran's nuclear infrastructure last June, Trump argued that a tough stance against the Iranian administration could yield results. Drawing attention to the importance of pressure and deterrence, Trump stated, "Sometimes you have to be afraid. That is the only thing that will ensure the situation is truly resolved."

When asked, "Do you want regime change in Iran?" Trump replied, "Frankly, that seems like the best-case scenario. They have been talking for 47 years. We have lost many people during this time." Emphasizing that the people in Iran continue to suffer, Trump said, "This situation has been going on for a long time. We will see what happens. In the meantime, a significant force has been deployed to the region and reinforcements are on the way. As you know, another aircraft carrier is being sent to the region soon. If we can resolve this issue once and for all, it would be good for everyone."

"WE DO NOT WANT ANY NUCLEAR ENRICHMENT"

Avoiding a definitive answer to the question of who he wants to take over the administration in Iran, Trump settled for saying, "The people there." Reminded of his statements that Iran's nuclear facilities were completely destroyed in the attacks carried out last summer, and asked "What is left to target?" Trump said, "Frankly, there is only dust and dirt left anyway. That would be the most insignificant part of the operation.
