US Secretary of Defense discharged from hospital
It has been reported that US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has been discharged from the hospital where he was admitted on February 11 due to a bladder issue.

In a written statement issued by the Department of Defense (Pentagon) spokesperson, it was stated that Austin was sent home from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he had been admitted three times since December 22.
The statement noted that Austin continues to recover and perform his duties fully, and that he will continue to work from home for a while longer upon the advice of his doctors.
US Secretary of Defense Austin was hospitalized on February 11 due to an urgent bladder issue, and it was reported that he was transferred to the intensive care unit for close monitoring following tests and evaluations.
HE WAS HOSPITALIZED AGAIN ON JANUARY 1
A subsequent statement reported that the diagnosed bladder problem was treated with a non-surgical procedure under general anesthesia.
Secretary Austin, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December of last year, underwent surgery on December 22 and was re-hospitalized on January 1 due to severe pain caused by complications that developed after his discharge.
Austin was admitted to intensive care there and remained in the hospital until January 15, and after being discharged, he continued to work from home until January 29.
Austin's health status and hospitalization first came to light with a statement made by the US Department of Defense on January 5, and it was later revealed that senior officials, including President Joe Biden, as well as Pentagon officials and members of Congress, had learned of Austin's hospitalization days later.
