Regarding the future of Gaza, Blinken stated, "I hope that Palestinian authorities will invite international actors for an interim administration. Security forces in Gaza should consist of different nations and Palestinians. Palestinians deserve to determine their own destiny."
Addressing Israel, Blinken also said, "Israelis must set aside the myth that they can de facto annex Gaza and must accept a reformed Palestinian National Authority in Palestine."
