Gazanfari made assessments regarding the indirect negotiations conducted between Iranian and US delegations in Oman in the "Sobh-e Sadegh" magazine, which is affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard.
Stating that the US presented 4 conditions to Iran before the negotiations in Oman and threatened to launch an attack if they were not accepted, Gazanfari expressed that his country did not surrender in the face of these threats and psychological warfare.
"TALKS ARE ONLY ABOUT NUCLEAR ISSUES"
Gazanfari recalled that the US wanted to make the ballistic missile program, support for regional proxy groups, enriched uranium, and the nuclear issue subjects of negotiation, stating that Iran's defense capabilities cannot be a subject of negotiation and that they continue to take military measures despite the talks.
Claiming that the general framework of the negotiation talks in Oman was shaped according to Iran's stance rather than the conditions put forward by the US, Gazanfari reminded that the talks were only related to nuclear issues.
Gazanfari emphasized that the Iranian delegation conducting the negotiation process with the US operates within the framework of policies determined by the Supreme National Security Council of Iran and that, therefore, the negotiation delegation should be trusted.
