Tensions in Yemen's civil war have escalated once again following an airstrike conducted by the US. The Ras Issa fuel port in the city of Hodeidah, which is under the control of the Iran-backed Houthis, was targeted by the US military.
The toll of the attack is becoming increasingly severe. According to reports from the Houthi-affiliated media outlet Al Masirah TV, the number of people who lost their lives in the bombardment has risen to 38. The number of injured is reported to be at least 80.
It was stated that those who lost their lives included not only port workers but also medical teams who were the first to respond to the scene, as well as civilians in the area.

“The United States will not cooperate with any country, company, or individual that provides direct or indirect support to foreign terrorist organizations such as the Houthis. This includes fuel shipments to ports under Houthi control.”
