As tensions in the Middle East continue, US National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby spoke about the potential attack expected to be launched by Iran against Israel.

Stating that they do not know exactly when Iran will launch an attack on Israel, Kirby suggested that Iran could likely attack Israel soon and without any warning.

Kirby said, “We have information that the attack could be launched without any warning and certainly in the coming days, and we must be prepared for that.

I cannot tell you with certainty here that Iran has changed its mind about attacking Israel, what it would look like if they did, or when it might happen. We know that Iran has made some preparations.

If they choose to attack, we believe they could do so with very little or no notice. We do not want it to reach that point,” he said.
