President Donald Trump, who took office in the US on January 20, has made a significant impact with his immigration policy and sanctions. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced today the new tariffs that Trump plans to implement.

Leavitt stated that starting tomorrow, a 25 percent tariff will be imposed on Mexico and Canada, and a 10 percent tariff on China "for the illegal fentanyl that has caused the deaths of millions of Americans."

Reporting that Trump has not yet made a decision regarding the imposition of tariffs against the European Union (EU), Leavitt left unanswered the question of "whether the tax to be applied will be uniform or different for each EU country."
