US to provide $404 million to Palestinians
The US Department of State has announced that the United States will provide an additional $404 million in aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

As an international conference on "urgent humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip," organized in partnership with Egypt and the United Nations (UN), continues in the Jordanian capital of Amman, the US Department of State has announced that the United States will provide an additional $404 million in aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In a statement released by the Department, it was stated, "As the largest single donor of humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people, we recognize the urgent need for more aid given the dire humanitarian conditions, and we call on all donors to support life-saving operations for Palestinians in Gaza and the region."
The Department stated that this aid will provide Palestinians with essential needs, including food, drinking water, healthcare services, education, shelter, and psychosocial support.
With this latest aid announcement, the total amount of aid provided by the US to Palestinians has reached $674 million.
