US Vice President JD Vance reacts to Israeli cabinet
Responding to a question about reports that some ministers in the Israeli cabinet have made statements targeting the US and President Donald Trump personally over the agreement with Iran, Vance emphasized that they expect Israel, like other countries, to abide by this agreement.

US Vice President JD Vance reacted sharply to some members of the Israeli cabinet who criticized the US-Iran agreement. Vance stated, "If I were in the Israeli cabinet, I would not attack the only strong ally I have left in the entire world."
Vance addressed the details of the agreement with Iran during a press briefing at the White House while reacting to the statements made by some Israeli politicians.
Vance expressed his discomfort with reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was criticizing the agreement by saying things to others that he did not voice during his meeting with him.
Targeted some members of the Israeli cabinet without naming them
"We see some people from the Netanyahu cabinet coming out and attacking the deal and attacking President Trump in a very personal way. First of all, Donald Trump is currently the only head of state in the entire world who sympathizes with the nation of Israel. If I were in the Israeli cabinet, I would not attack the only strong ally I have left in the entire world," said Vance, targeting some Israeli ministers.
Vance noted the following:
"To some cabinet members in Israel who are criticizing the US, I would like to say this: In the last three months, two-thirds of the defensive weapons protecting your homeland were manufactured by American hands and financed by the money of American taxpayers. Israel's problem is not Donald Trump. Anyone in Israel who thinks their biggest problem is President Trump should wake up and see the reality of the situation their country is in."
Warning to Israel regarding Lebanon
Vance stated that attacks between Israel and Hezbollah should also end as part of the agreement with Iran, noting that both sides have given their word on this, and he demanded that both sides comply with it.
The US Vice President said, "We expect Hezbollah not to attack Israel with rockets and drones, and likewise, we expect Israel not to do anything crazy in Lebanon."
Explaining that the situation in Lebanon should be handled entirely through diplomacy and that they have therefore initiated a dialogue process between Israel and Lebanon, Vance said they have achieved "extraordinarily successful" results from these talks and that the clashes have largely ended.
Arguing that the Lebanese government must be able to control southern Lebanon, which would prevent Hezbollah from "taking over the country," Vance underscored that they also want Israel not to attack southern Lebanon during this process.
Stating that Israel has the right to defend itself, Vance said, "Israel, like everyone else, must respect this peace process, which is fundamentally beneficial for themselves and the entire region. The reason the President is sometimes frustrated is that just as we are on the verge of a breakthrough in the agreement, a massive explosion suddenly occurs in a civilian residential center in Beirut, and many people who have nothing to do with Hezbollah lose their lives. This is unacceptable."
